UNE DOSE UNIQUE DE KÉTOROLAC PENDANT LA CHIRURGIE POURRAIT ÉVITER LA RÉCIDIVE D’UN CANCER : UNE HISTOIRE TROP SIMPLE ?

Growth of tumors can accelerate during the peri-operative period. Understanding the complex role of inflammation and its consequences, positive and deleterious could lead to identify inflammatory-related biomarkers and therapeutic opportunities. In the works described here, we show how the neutrophil:lymphocyte ratio can be used as a prognostic factor before breast, lung and kidney cancer surgery, and how and why the intraoperative use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs has been identified as a promising way to prevent, at least some, postoperative cancer relapses.
